山根 梓 Due to Covid-19, it has been difficult to have face-to-face discussions, so this NGP seminar was also held online. Online seminars allow us to meet in the same space wherever we are. Even under these circumstances, it is very important to have a place for discussion flexibly.

At this seminar, I was able to hear NGP students’ latest research. I’m usually in a field that is a little different from neuroscience, but everyone's research was very interesting. During the Q&A session, I felt that there was a wide range of discussions, from general to sharp perspectives into specialized fields.

Through this seminar series, I also learned that it is important to be grateful to others. Although the world is in Covid-19 related confusions, it is happy to be able to continue and progress our study forward. It is very important for us to communicate closely with each other using various tools and to express gratitude.

I would like to keep studying while cooperating with those around me and deepening my own learning.

陳 正豪Many thanks to professors and NGP faculty for organizing series of online events. Amid pandemic, although there is no way back to the normal, we are still trying hard to make everything possible. Comparing to the traditional seminars and meetings, to be honest, I’d prefer those hold online. Because I finally can clearly see slide contents, which normally tends to be in very small fonts. Also, online seminars helped me greatly with the inaudible issues, which happens almost every time when I listen to a presentation sitting in the back of the classroom.

Despite lacking of background knowledge, it’s interesting and sometimes thought-provoking to watch others presenting their studies from totally different fields. I hope more discussion and even cooperation studies could become possible in the near future.

Keep moving,
Stay safe.

Zhou YUANI really enjoy every Neuro global online seminars.

In our 3 previous seminar, I witnessed a lot of decent presentations and their interesting researches, which not only updated my knowledge, but also improved my skills related to scientific researches.

And this time, I am one of the students giving my presentation, and learn much more than being a listener. On the one hand, I received a lot of provoking comments. Since my research is still at the beginning stage, these comments indeed helped me notice the weakness of my research, and then make it more logical and systematic. On the other hand, honestly speaking, I do not have enough experience to deliver a scientific presentation. The form of this lecture provides me a valuable opportunity to accumulate my experience, and is also an educational training of a researcher. Moreover, I find some students who have the similar research interest during this lecture. I think this type of discussion can help us solve many questions we meet and improve our studies together.
